COVID Vaccine Update

We and many other Practices have just been advised that we will not be receiving any Covid Vaccine supplies this week. We will therefore not be able to run covid vaccination clinics next week.

Freedom of Information

Freedom of information (FOI) gives you the right to ask any public sector organisation for information they hold. Anyone can request information

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 came fully into force on 1 January 2005 and further information is available from the Information Commissioners Office.

A request for information must be made in writing to the Practice Manager. The applicant must give their name and address for the reply, and they do not need to say why they want the information. They may express a preference for information to be provided in a particular form e.g. paper copy or on a memory stick, and the Practice will do its utmost to comply with their requested preference.

Most requests are free but you might be asked to pay a small amount for photocopies or postage. You will be told by the Practice if you have to pay anything.

You should receive the information requested within 20 working days. If we need more time, we will contact you and tell you when you can expect the information.

The Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO)

The Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) can help you understand what data protection, freedom of information and related issues mean to you. It can advise you on how to protect your personal information and how to gain access to official records.
