We have also had to make changes to our Prescription Service.  We require 48 hours to process your prescriptions. We will only accept Telephone Prescription requests between 09.30am and 12.30pm.

We are updating our patient services and this will give you the opportunity to BOOK APPOINTMENTS and ORDER PRESCRIPTIONS online.    

GP online services allow you to access a range of services via your computer, mobile or tablet. Once you have signed up, you will be able to:

  • book or cancel appointments online
  • renew or order repeat prescriptions online

Before using this service you will need to complete an application form.  Please download it, complete and bring to our reception desk.

Repeat prescription requests can also be ordered by telephoning reception between 09:30am and 12.30pm and can also be made be in writing or you can request a Pharmacy to order your prescription for you.   WE REQUIRE A MINIMUM OF 48 HOURS NOTICE FOR PRESCRIPTIONS.

Hospital Letter Medication Requests

If a hospital consultant recommends you start medication you will be issued with a letter.  Once this has been left into reception we will require 24 Hours until the prescription is ready for collection.    

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, Nurse Prescriber or Practice Pharmacist at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

Please allow us a minimum of 48 hours for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.  Where possible  please collect direct from a Pharmacy.

New Contraceptive Pill Reviews

The Practice reviews your pill every 12 months in order to continue prescribing it for you.

We have introduced a Proforma that you can fill in and leave back to reception or return via Email so that we can continue to prescribe your pill without needing a face to face appointment.

If you would prefer to see a nurse or doctor then please book an appointment.
